I am passionate about making the coaching experience about you and making changes based on your current lifestyle. We will work together to find out ways of reaching your goal and making it fit into your daily schedule. Each person I have worked with has their own personal target to reach. To be successful in reaching this benchmark, we all have to be aware of the “whys.” Learn to become better at what you do and improve your stability, strength and endurance. From carrying groceries without back pain, to keeping up with kids, dogs, and daily life, efficient and pain-free movement can keep you feeling and performing your best on a daily basis for as long as possible, not to mention looking your best.
I chose this path because I am passionate about helping people improve their quality of life through exercise. I am fascinated with how the body works and how to make it function at its best with efficient movement and proper nutrition. I want each person I work with to be their best in training, work, and life. The transformation of the body begins with mindset, and the mindset affects how we work with our nutrition and exercise programs. I fully believe that proper movement and fuel for the body will beget success in other areas of life.
I began coaching after becoming passionate about weight lifting for physical and mental health. During my full-time office job, I became certified through a 12-week course at Santa Monica College. From there I obtained my first personal trainer certificate through ACE and began working at 24 Hour Fitness. I then decided to obtain my bachelors in exercise science from CSULA and completed in 2017. I am also certified form NASM as a corrective exercise specialist.
